Induction coils. An electromagnetic buzzer (or electric bell) is an electromagnet which is operated by and operates a magnetically activated switch. It buzzes by continually turning itself on and off. An induction coil is a buzzer with a secondary winding. - a cross between a buzzer and a transformer.
